All shipping lines servicing Australian ports utilise the same standards in regards to container dimensions and specifications. Containers are inspected by Crown Relocations before use to ensure they are clean and structurally sound. International containers must undergo regular certification.

20 Foot ISO Container

The 20' General Purpose container is the smallest size international container with external measurements 6.10m long x 2.44m wide and 2.59m high. Its cubic capacity is approximately 28 cubic metres.

MAERSK shipping container

40 Foot ISO Container

The 40' General Purpose container is the most common sized international container with external measurements 12.20m long x 2.44m wide and 2.59m high. Its cubic capacity is approximately 56 cubic metres.

HAPAG-LLOYD shipping container

40 Foot Hi-Cube Container

The 40' Hi-Cube container is the largest container size available from Australia with external measurements 6.10m long x 2.44m wide and 2.99m high. Its cubic capacity is approximately 65 cubic metres.
